ORA-19870: error reading backup piece

Una buena práctica cuando tomamos un BACKUP HOT es hacer un RESTORE VALIDATE DATABASE, que chequea la integridad y consistencia de las piezas de backup generadas por RMAN, contra los datafiles, archivelogs que se encuentran en la base de datos y nos asegura que el restore correra sin problemas al momento de recrear el ambiente.
La sintaxis de ejecución es la siguiente:

run { restore validate database; }

Bien, ahora vamos a mostrar un ejemplo, que luego de tomar un BACKUP HOT, valido las piezas.

POSIBLES INCOVENIENTES

Puede ser que por políticas de backup o un script de mantenimiento, las piezas se muevan del path de origen, donde el RMAN registra sus piezas, el que definifimos por defecto en los scripts o en el catalogo mismo.
Entonces arrojara el error ORA-19870.
Este error aparecera cada vez que querramos validar una pieza que no este en su path de origen. Para ello debemos registrar las piezas nuevamente en el nuevo lugar de destino, o volver a ponerlas en su lugar.
En el caso que expongo no estan el path donde se catalogaron y vuelvo a mover las piezas al path de origen

En el caso que represento, es el escenario en el que estamos ajustados con el storage de la base y esto nos obliga immediatamente a comprimir las piezas que serán subidas a TSM. Asi mismo verifico que las piezas creadas no existen.
Las muevo y ejecuto exitosamente la operación.

Efectivamente las piezas del backup que tome no se encuentran ! Las busco en el path de respaldo y la encuentro.

Ejecuto nuevamente y la validacion finaliza correctamente, no solo por que haya movido las piezas, si no también a que la integridad de datos es correcta.

    Disculpa mi atrevimiento, pero quisiera ver si tu me puedes ayudar, mira tengo la siguiente situación quiero realizar un duplicate de una BD de produccion a otro server, con la finalidad de probar si funcionan los respaldos que tengo en cinta sin embargo, me está enviando un error similar al que dices solo k en este caso es de cinta,

    Alguna idea…? El servidor de cinta es un Veritas Netbackup 6.5

      Liliana,
      Buenas Tardes, te comento que el error se muestra puede ser por los sigueinetes motivos:
      1) Cuando vosa tomas un backup, el registro se guarda en el control file, por hecho si por ejemplo lo tomas en el /u03/backup del otro lado del server tenes que tener los mismos paths.
      Ahora bien, que pasa cuando no existen esos paths y no se pueden crear. Hay que catalogar la piezas en el rman, antes de lanzar el script de duplicate.
      2) Otro problema pueden ser permisos. pasame el log que se encuentra en el path /netbackup/logs/user_ops cuando te devuelve el error ORA-27029: skgfrtrv: sbtrestore returned error asi puedo ver, si la falla no esta por ese lado. Por que el problema puede ser tambien que el usuario oracle no tenga permisos para leer el archivo libobk de veritas.

    Hola Buen dia , perdon si te molesta pero quiero ver si me podrias ayudar, estoy intentando instalar oracle 11g release 2 en un servidor con windows server 2008 y quiero instalar la base de datos en un dispositivo NAS con un RAID 1+0 pero al momento de crear la base me muetra los siguientes errores:

    ORA-19624: fallo de la operacion; reintento permitido
    ORA-19870: error al restaurar parte de la copia de seguridad C:\APP\ORACLESBD1_INSTALL\PRODUCT\11.2.0\DBHOME_1\ASSISTANTS\DBCA\TEMPLATES\SEED_DATABASE.DFB
    ORA-19504: fallo al crear el archivo “\\10.8.7.100\E$\INB\SYSTEM01.DBF”
    ORA-27040: error de creacion de archivo, no se ha podido crear
    OSD-04002: no se ha podido abrir el archivo

      podrias buscar en el log de asm o mostrarme algun log de discos ???
      Los comando de asm te muestran montados los discos ??
      Los discos los usas montados en file system bajo que nombre de unidad ??

        Antes que nada agradecerte por responder, estoy tratando de instalar el software de Oracle en una unidad C de un servidor bajo windows server 2008 R2, y la base de datos la quiero instalar en una unidad de red como File System, no como ASM, ya agregue la unidad de red de la NAS en el servidor y en el explorador la visualizo como unidad E, puedo escribir sobre la unidad sin ningun problema con el usuario que trato de instalar el software, no se si me falte algun permiso especial para instalar Oracle o alguna configuracion de la NAS, te adjunto los logs de oracle espero sean de utilidad, muchas gracias:
